About
Loose Threads.
Loose Threads started because somewhere along the way, streetwear stopped saying anything.
The big brands began to feel like inside jokes for people who already knew. The mid brands started to feel like algorithm bait. The small brands started to feel like dropshipping with a logo. We wanted something simpler.
Loose Threads is one person’s running list of things they almost said out loud. Some are about code. Some are about plants. Some are about the meeting that should have been an email. We print them on tees, weekly, in small lots, until we run out of jokes.
How we make things
Designs are concepted weekly. The ones that survive an honest read get printed. Each lot is intentional — usually 6 to 18 pieces. Once a lot is gone, we don’t reprint. The next thing is already in motion.
Fabric is mid-weight 230gsm 100% combed cotton, garment-dyed for the slightly washed look that says “owned, not bought.” Print is plastisol screen-print, deliberately allowed to soften with the shirt. That’s a feature, not a flaw.
Made-to-order from a US partner. Ships in 3 business days, tracked.
Who this is for
People who got the joke. Or people who didn’t but liked the line anyway. We don’t care which.
The reader is the protagonist; the shirt is a quiet object that names something already felt. There is no influencer program. There are no flash sales. There is no “limited time offer.” If we say a lot is small, it’s small.
